Hans, I wouldn't mind critique either. It's welcome at any time. In this case I expected already that you were curious, which is why I provided the NEF as well to see how the in-camera results compared to the final image. Personally I always find these processes interesting when seeing images made by others so it could happen at any time that I ask to compare a final edit with an NEF to allow me to learn something new or unexpected.

Thanks Buddy, that's appreciated.

Then, some more mundane subjects, but full throttle (meaning all sliders to the max)
Hans, the last one of these - I like it a lot!
It's about how the structure (from machining?) is pronounced, the light and the black framing.
Balance is cept by the one line in the upper area..

Well, more precisely I ment to say 'not yet finished with the tulips' in spring 2016

There seems a lot more captures in them  ::) 8)

Thanks Thomas. It is from machining. It's the handle bar on a shower cabinet, the line on top is the reflection in the surface of the drawer the handle bar is on.

Here is a moose in pitch dark. The ISO was definately in HIxxx area. Couldnt see it but heared in front of me. Focus was guesstimated.
One of the few times I've seen fixed pattern noise contribute to the shot.

... I wonder what the orange stripe is? ...

It must be a vapour trail.

I also really like the picture. However, for the minimalism thread, i'd have liked the foreground trees to be out of focus more, they are quite defined (which is probable desired for other purposes). IMHO of course.

Dynamic, strong graphic impact. The contrast in line with the harsh flying thingies. Difficult to decipher -what is going on?-. You still keep the imperfections and I think they work, even in this minimalist thread. It sounds like water but also metalic. What is it?

 Don´t tell me :)
