The story of a voyage to Iceland.
Presented in a day by day retrospective pictural narrative.

Day 0:
documentary only: travel nerd stuff.
Some special equipment was build for the car to store everything which one might need  for a one month camping jouney at the polar circle.

Haha - the red one is special. It belongs to my beloved wife.
It's not that seldom that I'm longing to shoot it as it has it's qualities.

Beside the system boxes, which have an aceptable weight of their own,
it's quite light weight. Many of the boxes contain clothes suitable for the weather of the far north.
Fully loaded the car is sitting just a few millimeters lower,
no reinforcement needed. Weight distribution is good, as is driving.

The overal goal was to keep the arrangement of things stable during the trip,
especially when partly unloaded.

1 - storage shelf (documentary)

I hope so!
Please let me know if adjustments in the diary are envisioned - I will be trying to balance photography and side information.

Day 3 (part 1):
A day on the seas onboard MV Norröna (Norroena/Norrona) sailing to Tórshavn, Faroe Islands.
The link goes to marine traffic retrieving ship, track and position information.

The route touches the Shetlands. On that occasion shooting Muckle-Flugga light is a welcome attraction for the crowd aboard.

1 - breakfast, slowing down from daily business
2 - feeling how she moves
3 - at home on the faroe islands
4 - leaving the past behind
5 - geometric studies
