Great series, Thomas.  I echo the others with the atmospheric  'Vopnafjörður'  scene.  Must be a joy to visit Island.

This series just keeps on getting better Thomas.

I want to go there. Phantastic light and color play. Touches me. Wow. What a place!

I was lucky enough to go there for 4 days in May Frank.
It was very much a tourist trip (e.g. Coach trips, rather than having a self-drive hire car) and we saw barely 25% of the island's coastline. But I really enjoyed it.

If I could afford to, I would go there for a couple of weeks and try to get one or two trips by light airplane or helicopter (much of the inner landscape isn't very accessible on 4 wheels, plus I'd love to see some real lava!)

Some of my humble efforts can be seen here

Thank you, Colin. It seems you've seen some beautiful places.
I like the tractor road sign. Compared to what we know from home it's one of the conspicious signs and I missed to take a snap.

I coincidentally saw another gallery of Iceland shots, all these photos are enlightening!

Note that some of the shots have Peak Design products, if that is a problem please don't follow the link. But the images are stunning.

Looking forward to seeing more in this thread!

Many thanks Thomas for the "heads up" re your GPS data.  My Exif viewer is picking it up OK and linking it to my maps viewer.

Thank you, Hugh. I enjoy it again selecting the pictures for this thread.

For exif information including GPS quick access to Google Maps I use the exif viewer plugin. Very helpful.
Just hover the mouse pointer over a picture, if it contains suitable EXIF information hit the little red [GPS].

Haha,- that's going to be a running gag until you'll visit Iceland yourself.

8-6 indeed but also the last one 8-10 has some graphical elements that are strong and interesting, but I'm not so keen on the out of focus foreground here,,,

Erik, you are pointing to something I missed. Only the graphics were seeking in for me at the time of capture. Still I like the shot a lot.
