Looks like you have good conditions regarding the weather! Nice ;) Although wind is difficult to see on images from Iceland,,,

Great travel / Explorer images! Almost like being back :)

Great landschapes,  like the colours in '6 - 1 here we come'  from sweet green to sweet yellow, a bit of a Spring feeling.

Day 6 - part 2:
Afternoon and evening, which surprized us with nice, smoother light and new landscapes.

6 - 6 a rock is a rock
6 - 7 look down if you can
6 - 8 a bay
6 - 9 Fuchur kissing Great A'Tuin
6 - 10 evening scene at Vopnafjörður (another is here - click)

Day 7 - part 1

A hiking day. Island has lots of opportunities.

7 - 1 Fuglabjargarnes
There is a lot of drift wood on this coast.
7 - 2 leave the vehicles on the car parking (cycles allowed)
One is happy if there is parking close to where you'd expect it to be.
7 - 3 Wollgrass (Eriophorum)
7 - 4 infinite flow
7 - 5 fall

Thomas, I must say that I am enjoying your trip immensely.  Thank you for sharing it with us.  The place names and route numbers you cite are great, as I can crank up Google maps and see where you have been.  Good stuff!

Thank you, Hugh. I enjoy it again selecting the pictures for this thread.

For exif information including GPS quick access to Google Maps I use the exif viewer plugin. Very helpful.
Just hover the mouse pointer over a picture, if it contains suitable EXIF information hit the little red [GPS].
