Frank shot Simone. Fortunately there were no serious injuries, but Frank appears to be using a lens which can see round corners.

With the Ais Micro 200/4.0 IF, the result should be a big eyeball of Simone with the graceful vignetting.  :D

The sloppy lens hood is a give-away for the 200/4 Micro AI/AIS ...

Departing Killin in a short while, unfortunately. Amongst other things I probably managed to be the first NG Member to be bitten by a tick indoors ... The event up to now has been a huge success and my departing will not detract from that, I surmise. I'm always positively surprised by the strong feeling of community and friendship that develops within these events and the Scottish meet-up was no exception to this general rule. Thanks and gratitude goes to Dave for his efforts to arrange all the meeting details and assist the members flocking to his home country. Well done, Dave.

The 105 mm f/2.5 AIS has the same "feature", giving the perfect impression that I am using non-professional tools.

Akira. Well spotted. This is a 200/4 Micro. No vignetting though.
This is a D500.

Andrea, this is super.  Well spotted!

The exif data says the focal length is 45mm.  I suspect you used 24-70 zoom?

This is from the Sunday hike. The car on the left stands at 400 meters above sealevel, the first peak on the right side is 1100 meters.This is where Günther, Francis, the Simones and me had lunch. The Simones followed Bez who waited on the next peak, I descended with Günther and Francis. This was 5 hours for us, 12 hours for them. On the second pic you see Francis on the peak.

Akira, yes, it was the 24-70/2.8G AFS, old version, which is getting a little creaky. I'm becoming tempted to replace it with the new version after seeing it used here.
