I have given up. Quite positive that I do not have to share the 1 Mbit
connection now sitting by the harbour this very page has not loaded
after 15 minutes.

There may be some decent WiFi at Dave's place later.

I will probably ignore it too and do the editing and uploading at home.

We had a great time with the two Simones, took long trips to places
well worth it. Would not want to miss a moment.

All the best

Frank

PS. The D500 continues to amaze me.
I took wet dogs playing on the beach
going full throttle. Wonderful action performance
only limited by my non existing experience.

LOL, Frank!

So, you guys haven't joined the main group?  Take your time and enjoy your experiences at hand.  The images (BIF especially) are amazing enough to me.  I'm looking forward to watching your further improvements!

Yesterday Chris and Mike teamed up so we were finally at full war strength.

Each morning small groups go to different places which match their interest best and we see each other again in the evening for dinner, hopefully we'll see some of their images soon.
Cheers,
Jan Anne

We are having a great time!
Erik chipped an extension ring for my Heligon, which means that I have a dedicated PN-1 just for the Heligon and it reads f/2.7 as calculated by Bjørn  8) ::)

Today will  be the BIG chipping service event. Erik & I have completed 5 lenses by now and more are queued up to await their destiny ....

Currently the 90 mm f/3.5 Voigtländer SL.1 of Rosko is in the works.

Unfortunately, my recurrent leg infections flared up badly, so I have to leave the NG Event and Scotland tomorrow morning to go to a Norwegian hospital for admission. Collateral damage from a traffic accident in 1998 when I was run over by a bus. Seeing all the enjoyment and creativity on display here in Killin makes me sure my absence will hardly be noticed, though.

I had the pleasure of borrowing Francis' Heligon 68/1.25 for a brief moment just to compare it to mine, and I have to say that it's great!
We are taking good care of Bjørn with bananas, industrial coffee and good company :)

Good ;)

Great stuff, Jakov.  Much different than the Heligon 100?

It's lighter. I didn't use an extension ring, I could get in rather close. There is more depth of field. I like it a lot!
So if you get a chance to get the 68/1.25, don't hesitate, all the aberration qualities are there!  ::)

Akira. The fast photo team with the Italian driver has of course
taken responsibility! While I was working a church with very small
organ, the others errected a Mercury observatory outside.

We had a trunk full of equipment and picked the top shelve
items for the purpose.

We just had roughly ten other photographic challenges on a long
day starting at 8 a.m. when the others were still asleep and came
back at Mindnight. Then we started drinking.

At four in the morning we went to bed. Supershooting!!!
