April is known to be fickle weather-wise in my country, and this ancient insight was demonstrated yet again when I woke up this morning to a complete white-out and strong wind gusts.

Agave victoriae-reginae

This morning one of my plants was receiving a perfect lighting from the morning sun. Light seemed to be coming from inside the plant.

(Inadvertently) centered on the disk of the sun.  The shutter clicked accidentally as I pulled my eye away from the viewfinder.  No harm done, fortunately.
Cheers, John

Gives a nice 'hot' effect'. John

First sign of spring
The sun effect with the 'spring'flowers give a very nice atmosphere.

Signs of spring here too. Snow everywhere except Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge where airport crews have used their machinery to clear the snow to welcome our winged guests. They do not do this just out of their good heart. If the fields were not cleared, the only other larger snow free area for the birds to rest would be the airport.
