Lovely bouquet, Fons

First night looking for Neowise, with a bonus meteor.
ISO6400
I want to shoot this, but it has been cloudy , I tried yesterday as it was more or less clear view towards the east but couldn't find it, I rushed to the roof without looking at stellarium to get a better idea where it may be

A tropical storm passed through last night and some oak leaves were blown off their trees, this one landing in some ferns.

It is higher in the sky than I thought. I could not find it at first. I needed a smartphone app to get the azimuth and binoculars to find it.  Having read everywhere that it is very low, close to the horizon,  I was not looking high enough.

Extra water in "Rietven" the temporary lakes on the moore. Normally in summer the lake disappears ,  but due the heavy rains of the past 2 weeks there is now water in the lake.

Not much time to post here on NG these days, as I'm literally swamped by my aquatic macrophyte work. The project is in its 4th year now and the pace has been stepped up -- not my choice, but those with the money, as always,  have the final say.

From this evening's work shooting details of the Northern Water Lily Nymphaea candida. A cross-section of the stem of a lily pad (floating leaf) to show the intricate support and aeration structures involved.

Laowa 25mm f/2.8, Z7, 4.1X magnification. This is a small crop,  by the way.
