A small part of one of the "old" parts of my home town Kristiansund N. in Mid Norway. Nikon D810 with the AI Nikkor 400mm f/3.5 IF-ED.
Looks like a very liveable town. Nice image also!

Thanks, Fons and Luc! I've been teaching norwegian to "minority speaking people" (people coming to Norway caused by different reasons), which I really love! But the decline in migration to Norway I now have to change to an another school later this year for at least one year.
One picture taken is far better than none!

Finally someone here with a sky dark enough to capture Neowise, well done! What a luck to get the meteor in the same frame! Situated at 65° north, I am just hoping for enough dark to appear here before the comet goes away.

Thanks. It should still be visible in August, is it late enough?

Beautiful capture, Bruno!  I just ran up the stairs of my place to look for the Neowise, but, alas, it was cloudy....

Thanks Bruno, it will not be completely dark in early August, but if the intensity does not wane off too much there is hope, as Stellarium indicates that quite a few stars will be visible then. I will be keeping watch.

A window to the backyard
Sunday afternoon, cloudy, rumbling in the distance, it felt good to hold the D800, to look through the viewfinder to frame the view and to feel the shutter vibrations
