Seems you don't need a cheap Nikkor portrait lens.....if you still have the macro Planar. I guess you can get an adapter for the lens....
From the Nikkors you had on your lens it seems you have experience with a lot of Nikkors......like the 105/2.5. In the beginning I thought you was a previous Canon user and had not much knowledge of Nikkors.....but I wondered why your "nickname" is f4-fan.....but it could also be the aperture f4 :-) Later I understood. During the years I have become somewhat a collector but lenses I have used and did not like I have sold again like the Nikkor AIS 15/3.5, AFD 18/2.8, Nikkor-H 300/4.5 ….and a few others….
55/3.5 Bokeh seems very good…..and also 50/1.8.....on DX sensor 50mm can be used as portrait lens...….
Another song of praise for the 135mm f3.5, 105mm f2.5 and 180mm f2.8 manual lenses. They are excellent tools and just fun to use.
3 good images that not only proof the capability of those old lenses, but as well of the photographer. Please go on sharing those pictures. For me no 1 is a beautiful portrait, congrats.
