Nikon Z6 / 24-70mm HDR from three handheld exposures. Workplace for miniature trains at the Railway Museum, Utrecht/The Netherlands.
I like the repetition. I would have preferred some more sharpness on the handle.

My contribution of today (or rather, late last light) is a close-up (m=0.52) of one of my cultures of Greater Duckweed Spirodela polyrhiza. Stored for the winter in a dark, cool room, the colony disintegrated in a myriad of winter buds (turions), some of which do develop into budding new plants ahead of time. Probably the ambient temperature is a trifle on the high side (+5C) for the population to enter true hibernation state. Whatever the underlying cause, the colony makes a nice motif for UV-induced fluorescence (UVIVF). The buffing plants have chlorophyll and fluoresces in red, whilst the turions are rich in starch and appear dark. There are some seeds of Meadow-Sweet Filipendula ulmaria floating around as well, plus one or two fronds of Least Duckweed Lemna minuta that managed to scrape through so far.Nikon Z7, AFD Micro-Nikkor 60mm f/2.8, Nichia UV LED.
