You seem to have gotten the combination working well, Kim - particularly impressive considering the use of the TC! Really nice unusual frontal view.

For me the D500 with the 300 PF and the TC17 works very well. It is a very light combination to walk around with. I usually have it in a Black Rapid strap attached to an Ishoot (great and inexpensive) lens collar, that can be mounted in reverse to give a good balance with the TC. The 10 fps is a big advantage in these situations. Of course, not all pictures in the burst were sharp.
