Don't wanna see 5x/1.y threads, don't wanna see 5x/1.y threads, don't wanna see 5x/1.y threads... (x = 0, 5 or 8, y < 5)

   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

   Neither do I  :D

Nice shots of the classic cars, Luc.

Thank you, Bill. The Canon FD 1.2/50mm cannot be mounted to the Df and reach infinity???

Fortunately, adapters are available.  The most useful adapter would have a thickness of -4.5mm.  Unfortunately, B&H doesn't carry it yet.  I had to make do with a Fotodiox adapter of positive thickness, with of course the optics removed.  The result is effectively an extension of about 12.8mm.

Thank you, Luc. Nice pictures of the cars. They feel like coming from an adventure of Tintin.

The fragile appearance of this dried stalk belies the ecological ferocity of this noxious weed, Dittrichia graveolens, hostile to all other plants and all herbivores in the places it's invading in California.

Would some kind soul please explain what "5x/1.2 on Df" means, I'm supposing Df refers to the Nikon Df camera? Thanks

I guess noone really stayed with the Df. I never owned a Df for example. I see this more as a 5x/1.y thread
