I understand it as that  :)

You are the brightest star. shine.

where is the Canon?
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

AI 55mm at f/1.2 on Z6
Some of the bloom can be controlled in black and white.
I find it quite sharp at f/5.6

Since we are not limited to Df, this is 7Artisans 50mm f1.1 on Novoflex adaptor on Z7 (yes, man is reading iPad on the waters edge)

Cranberries, again with the Canon FD 50mm f/1.2 L on the Df:

This is the cultivated North American cranberry, Vaccinium macrocarpon, similar to but distinct from the V. oxycoccos called cranberry in the UK.

JJ, the second image in #35 is great, but it appears the PP gave the vertical beam a halo?

I'm hoping it is OK to post 1.2s NOT shot on a Df. I have a Sony A7RII (horrors!) that allows me to shoot a few different 1.2s that do not fit on a Nikon DSLR First two with a Cosina 55mm f1.2 in Pentax PK mount (not the Porst version--probably Tominon). Second two late Nikon 55mm f1.2. Third two Nikkor CRT 55mm f1.2. Fourth two Canon LTM 50mm f1.2. Last two, just for fun, Elgeet STL Navitar (Space Technology Laboratories) 86mm f1.2...anyway, it's a 1.2...

There a tiny bit of halo but mostly reflection off the fast setting sun. The girls and the old mans hair also shine. Thanks for looking!

Bill, you have got your  Canon FD 50mm f/1.2 L on the Df working well. Nice.

Thank you, Keith and Hugh. I just happened to run into these cranberries in the kitchen before they were transformed by cooking.  Toby, I continue to be amazed by the bokeh effects possible with some of these lenses. Wonderful compositions and thanks for sharing.

Here's one more closeup from the Canon FD 50/1.2 L:
