I'm crazy about sunflowers too! Ill post one more later.
I think my filter is a longpass around 720nm.
Cut with a dremmel from here:https://www.edmundoptics.com/optics/optical-filters/longpass-edge-filters/optical-cast-infrared-ir-longpass-filters/#f=categories_s
Im going to NY in August and the plan is to get a new converted camera from lifepixel. Lola is fun but the filter is all scratched. So 600mn has more color humm....

The 600nm has more color because it doesn't filter out all visible light. It let's through the entire wavelength of red channel and perhaps a bit of orange and yellow too. Bjørn likes to call it semi-IR, and that is my preferred way of shooting in IR.
I fell in love with the 600nm way of shooting when I started with a multi-spectrum broad-band D70 and a 16/3.5 fish-eye that has the R60 filter inside. Later I used a gel for the 8mm Sigma fish-eye. In any case I could start seeing what I was shooting. Later Erik modified a D200 for me so I don't have to play with gels and filters :)

Yes Jakov, I clearly remember those post. They are one more reason why I tried in the first place  ;)

The jury is still out about the kind of filter and if it is going to be a full fx or dx sensor. So far the experience with the d80 IR "Lola", all the way from the modification has been amazing for me.

My d80´s filter is so scratched that I have to throw away many images. The plan is to replace it with a "lifepixel" converted either d3300 or d5300 720nm ir. In the mean time, I still enjoy very much what "Lola" can produce.

Some great pictures here... My widest lens on the V1 is 27mm equivalent, so not so wide... The solution is to stitch panoramas.
