My grandparents from fatherside, his sister, and himself must be 1909, made a new copy, d800, 60mm f/2.8
Fons, lovely old photo, wether a copy or not! I have similar old photo from the same era! The young man at the back is my dad, we think it's from about 1915.
I like the repros of the old family photos!

I didn't dare to show the full flowering poppies. Couldn't get the color right, a certain saturated orange.
Seems there is a need to underexpose for great red / orange reproduction. About 1 , maybe be 1 1/3 stops. Like sometimes one needs to push +1 to 1.3 stop(s) for white.

It did happen to me too. I had to underexpose some orange flowers and de-saturated them in post as they were too much. I have shared some of them here already.
