Thanks Bruno, Fons and Frank.  It's indeed a nice location, Bruno ;)

Nice red Fons.  Do you use the Save for web function in CC?  Normally the colours will remain from the original open in CC.

When do colour-changes manifest?

When do colour-changes manifest?

Colour changes from tiff to jpg, in other words from a prophoto workspace into srgb jpgs for webuse, it is most evident when a tiff is created in photoninja and opened in photoshop to finalize for webuse, the only way to minimize gross colourchanges is to avoid unnecessary processing, where raising contrasts leads to colour changes anyway.

Yes I understand. If you work in ACR/CC  there is no translation to TIFF, so that will minimize the risk of colour-change.

June 26.  Tried Photomerge in the latest CC2015.5.  12-stitch pano covering 100 degrees or more horizontally.

Great effort is applied to create an even horizontal plane, while our planet is a global sphere, here the sky still hints at that ;).

Thanks, Fons.  I have to confess that my camera was a bit tilted upwards, which should result in the spherical rendition in the sky.  Also, the freshly stitched image before trimming was far from being leveled correctly.   :P  Photomerge did an admirable job anyway.

Akira: What are these artifacts that look like doors or electrical conductor poles?

Yes, you are right, Frank.  They support the power lines for the private railway running right below them.

Temporarily the two incarnations of Nikon's fith generation cameras are in my house. On the left D500+MB-D17, on the right D5.

I very much hope for the third incarnation. Sources say that the D850 / D900 will not happen this year. Pity.

A slow high res camera with superb implementation of silent shutter to use in musical events and theatrical performance and in churches would be more than welcome.

The D600 is a proxy for such a camera since 2013 ... proxies tend to last long ... wonderful IQ, amazing, but compared to the fifth gen cameras simply no WB and no AF.

With the D500 I now got a second proxy that has its own virtues as a sports and wildlife cam.

Bruno,- travelling by ferry pictures. Big like! Good transport selection :)

Unfortunately they look a tad underexposed on my screen...

Garden work. Zillions of [edit]snakes snails[/edit]. Harvesting started today with collecting
red and white currants.
They will give some very nice syrup.
