John. It is difficult for me to operate the 85 on a DX body indoors.
I am so used to 85 on Film and it is my always on on the D3.

John: superb. The D500 view finder (try it next time we meet) is great for MF. Nikon really got their act together in that field.

I must say that the FM-2 finder is currently harder to focus for me than the D500 VF. I guess this will change when the diopter arrives.

Some mysterious nocturnal activities down on the street -- no idea what this guy was about -- stealing? repairing? It involved a lot of unusual noises which got me interested.

Optically it involved a "black box", a bicycle and a suitcase

The D500 & 300PF alone did not cut it, so I took a military strength flashlight to enlighten the guy, who simply did not care...
