I presume this is not an advertising campaign for beer...

Thank you, Frank, Thomas and John.
Nice portraits, Frank
A welcoming package, Buddy
John, I'm sure it anyway has a certain impact on beer consumption :)

Blue delphinium, take 3: the 180-70 is much closer to the real color, and a mostly unsharp delphinium

Nice, is it already winter, Buddy?  ;)

Great portraits, Frank. The 85/1.8G does it well.

Tender blues, Bruno

Beauty of a moon, Thomas.

An alligator as gift, Fons?  ;)

Testing the Zeiss Triotar 135/4  on the 800E      -    Not bad for a lens from 1951  Sweet bokeh wide open, a bit harsh at f/8

John. It is difficult for me to operate the 85 on a DX body indoors.
I am so used to 85 on Film and it is my always on on the D3.

I understand, and how is the 35/1.4 doing on DX?

John: superb. The D500 view finder (try it next time we meet) is great for MF. Nikon really got their act together in that field.

I must say that the FM-2 finder is currently harder to focus for me than the D500 VF. I guess this will change when the diopter arrives.

Some mysterious nocturnal activities down on the street -- no idea what this guy was about -- stealing? repairing? It involved a lot of unusual noises which got me interested.

Optically it involved a "black box", a bicycle and a suitcase  :o

The D500 & 300PF alone did not cut it, so I took a military strength flashlight to enlighten the guy, who simply did not care...

Another mysterious image but in a totally different way.  Allegedly the full moon seen today is called "Strawberry Moon"...
