Great one, Thomas.
Thanks, Bruno.

Attractive shot of the knife.
I carefully inspected the image for traces of the tasteful sausage to be cut with such knife, couldn't find'm  ::)

Not sure if it is intentionally, but your image has GPS Info with it.

Thanks, Thomas. Actually, it was for a hamburger :). I leave the GPS info on by default on the smartphone as I use it a lot to document biodiversity. I thought in this case the only harm that could happen is drive people to this cool place where a  group of young people have started an innovative good quality hamburger restaurant.

Fons - great shot. What caught my attention is the layers as you say and especially the tree/power pole.

These are from yesterday evening - may 20. I was trying to grab some shots of the skies while the sun was going down but my AF refused to lock on the sky so I tried manual ... not a success though.

I continued to try and figure out why the AF refused to lock and found an area with more contrast ... and suddenly I realised the air was filled with tiny flies hovering and enjoying the sun going down just like me .. lesson learned  :D

May 21th  Nice weather.

Testing the old Nikkor 135/3.5  Q  C (from 1974) on the Df.  Not bad at all. A bit low on contrast wide open.

The lens looks big with the original HS-4.

Better than average in normal use, the 135/3.5 QC, but results get a lot better when using the Close up attachment 4T.

Frank, I like the ellbow shot, it comes straight on. Not only elbow and tattoos come well, the over all framing and side settings are well set.

Buddy: I love the forest series. The light suits the story well and the soft edit sets another emphasis on the fairy tale topic. Is that your woman you will bring to Maastrict? Then we do not only have the city but also some very decent models in our group!

Yesterday I did not have the time to conduct proper edits of these. I will open a "flea market" set as soon as I can spare 45 minutes to give them proper treatment...

Yes Frank, that is my girlfriend. As far as models go, we will bring one of our 2 dogs. We can leave one of them at home for the day, but we have to bring the younger of the two. As far as I know Maastricht that should not prove to be a problem though.

Kristina will bring her D800 and my 85mm f1,4 as well as a 50mm f1,2 K Nikkor. I think we'll leave the "long" glass at home. I will pack a 16mm f3,5, 20mm UD, 55mm f1,2, 105mm Sonnar and 200mm f4 as well as a D3 and F. Maybe I will bring the F3 as well, just in case
