Frank, I'm so terribly sorry for mixing you and Bruno up. I scrolled back and was already quite certain I addressed the right person.

The Orchids & Mannequin shot was quite a spontanious shot. I was making dinner, had a quick glimpse at the aquarium and the orchid was right beside it with quite nice and soft available light coming in through a window. I positioned the mannequin who normally makes sure our CD's do not fall down from the stereo and went to pick up my camera. Made about 10 exposures but this was the 3rd one and came out best.

I always liked my 24mm on my D300 but hardly ever use it on the D3. I seem to prefer the 20mm UD Nikkor on the D3. Not yet quite certain why that is. Which 85mm f1,8 will you bring? The AF-S version or the Nikkor-H?

Something completely unusual where I live, an abandoned pasture. Next to the building of a professional appointment, I only had the phone and 20 second to snap a reminder and GPS coordinates.
