The Angenieux 35-70/2.5-3.3 is a marvellous lens, in colours, light and bokeh unique.  Has some drawbacks (but easily corrected in PP) and takes a bit of time to master it. And some luck to find a good sample in the Nikon-mouth.

An example here, with hardly any daylight.

In this case On remembrance day of the dead (May 4th).[28] After the formal 2-minutes of silence at 8 p.m., the flag used to be hoisted upon the playing of the National Anthem. Since 2001, it is allowed to leave the flag at half-mast, even after the two minutes of silence;
