Good lens the Biotar 58/2?  I have the Triotar 135/4 somewere around here, not really been able to use it, but first impression is superb colours and sharpness wide open. (including a smooth bokeh)

This lens is indeed a little gem ! Although I don't get infinity with it (you might get it if you stop down) I love it !

Tinier than its Russian copy, it haven't the preset ring, tough.

I will bring both to Scotland, so, you can try them.

The Triotar 135/4  does reach infinity on the Nikon.

2. Mai 2016. Testing very low light levels, like 1.4/30th@20.000ISO, with the D500. I could neither focus by hand, not see colors with my bare eyes at that light level. The D500 focusses and delivers very nice color.
