That's a huge distortion Fons.  Are those lens-profiles in Camera Raw working okay?  I noticed some extreme differences just when applying that automatic lens-profile. It seemed to work the other way around. So I disabled it and made it manually in CC.   Or there is something wrong with your lens?

i generally stay away from the very wide end of the 17-35

on automatic profiles use them sometimes

I think we have a real PN user group here.
Some have accumulated libraries of lens profiles.

Fons, which distortion are you referring to?  To me, at least the "perspective distortion" looks rather "normal" for such a wide lens (17mm on FX).
