Thanks, Frank.  This is a one-way street which is just wide enough for a LKW.  There is another one-way street for the opposite direction on the other side of the railway.

Thanks Frank.
Nice shot Akira.

April 30th 2016

Free entrance in De Pont Museum, when a new exposition opens. Usually boring stuff, artsy fartsy, and with the 'Usual Suspects' but always good to see developments in one of the best museums in the World.

Nice Frank,  congratulations on the purchase of the D500.  Must be a joy to use.

Another one from De Pont Museum; this is a element of the regular collection ;)

John, thanks.  Interesting snapshots.

Frank, how do you feel the shutter response of D500 compared to that of D3?  I would have to wait for the numeric comparison until imaging-resources will post their review.

The difference, Akira, is in the AF. I did not measure anything but the AF feeeels 5 times faster and so that
part of shutter response is marginal. If one switches AF off and Mode=M with t=1/1000 s the D3 is nearly as fast
as the D500 but much noisier. I hope this is the answer you were  looking for.

Thanks, Frank.  The AF speed is indeed an essential factor for freezing the motion at will.  I'm interested if Nikon's decision for the design of the shutter, because they went for the silence and less vibration when replaced D800 with D810 and chose to sacrifice the shutter response.

As the calendar now shows May 1st, I'm closing the April thread and open a new for May.
