This wall is in Bisbee, Arizona. Nikon D800 with 85/2.8 PC-E.
Definitely a strange wall.  Any chance of seeing the wall as it sits in the surrounding 'context'?

Sorry, Pluton, but I don't think I have any wider shots (and the internet had the same wall but all were close ups). I will be down in Bisbee at the end of March and will try to find the wall again and get one.

My recollection was that it was a retaining wall along a sidewalk.

I will have to make a habit of getting context shots in the future. Don't always think about that...

Thanks for asking!

Good business out there.  You won't need a refrigerator to store the materials!

It remind me of the walls of Saqsaywaman in Perú, differences aside...

Here you go, Keith! I snapped a quick shot with my iPhone for you.

I think this wall is inspired by an artistic landmark in Italy: Il Giardino dei Tarocchi (Tarots' garden) in Capalbio (Tuscany, Italy), Niki de Saint Phalle's masterpiece. Naturally, Niki's work was inspired by Gaudì's work in Barcelona (Parque Guell)

If you haven't visited this place, it's worth a visit. And have a few gigabytes of storage handy, because you'll be shooting like a machine gun...

It took 25 years of work to complete this work (1977-2002), the artist actually lived inside The Empress (she had a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom, and a kitchen inside it)

#2: Yin and Yang
#3: The back of the Empress

Perhaps not particularly strange...

Lots of unusual walls but this one made me chuckle.

Modern art walls in Granada, they remind me of Guernika and some sky with spirals
