It appears that several of us lost a cat that way. Here is our very clever Ice Blue Isak, a blue point Siamese cat that lived a strong and free life as a stud. He was the father of some 20 litters. Finally he died in what looked like a car accident. Unfortunately i have few (if any) good pics of him, as he hated cameras and turned quickly away. Isak also inspired some "poems"

:
SIAMESE PRINCESS
(or Isak´s spring theme)
I want a hairy little Siamese princess
With a couple of sisters who can raise a few blisters
A fragile little Siamese Princess
With feet playing drums, who talks when she comes
I don´t want no bore
She must master a kitten or four
I want a darling little Siamese Princess
With long phony nails and a hairdo that rinses
A vicious little Siamese Princess
With her mouth full of mice, who hisses ´n´ lies
Don´t want no smudge
She must have earned a cert from a judge
I want a funky little Siamese Princess
An angel; a devil; with mind like a rebel
With titanic head who would sleep in my bed
She can even be poor
As long as she knows how to open a door
All up inside
I just want a princess of pride
I want a classy little Siamese Princess
With charming blue eyes wearing elegant thighs
A brazen little Siamese Princess
With two over-sized ears who can rut without fears
I don´t want a snail
She must carry a whip of a tail
For ten years or three nights
Won´t someone send me a princess who bites?

.
Yes, won´t someone send me a princess who bites?
(After Frank Zappa´s Jewish Princess. A special thank
to Connie who learned us about the princess)
