I got my 35/1.4 today and the trio 14/2.8, 56/1.2 and 90/2 would make me smile. Pics will arrive as soon as I get out and about. Yep, nice combo it is - the F&N.

 Much more appropriate when Sten builds relationships to different brands concurrently.

Olivier my apologies a typo made me type adapted when I actually meant "adapter" to enable you to use your Nikon lenses on a Fuji body?

I will most likely add a Samyang 12mm f/2 in Fuji mount for astrophotography this summer in the mountains.

If the 12/2 shares the low coma qualities of the 14/2.8 it will rock for astrophotography

Looking at some reviews of the 12/2 there is some CA whereas them comawings are quite absent. The former is an easy PP fix so it ought to be similat to its 14/2.8 sibling.

the 12/2 has stellar (pun maybe intended) reviews for astrophotography indeed.

Mike: I use either a Lens Turbo II focal reducer or a empty chinese adapter purchased on Ebay for 10€ and which does its intended job.

Anyhow, congrats with the Fuji, when handling them I was hugely impressed by the built, button layout and of course those metal lenses.

Got to say that I am similarly invested in both Nikon and Fuji.
I am awaiting the arrival of my D500.  I cant/wont afford the D5 for my shooting as the D800 works better for me.
I really look forward to my D400....D500. :-)

Well Sten, three times lucky ("drie maal is scheepsrecht" as we say in Dutch). Maybe this time it will stick... 

In the meantime my X-T1 is already two years here, and it is still doing well as a small camera addition to the Nikons. A long walk, a bike trip, a few days on hand luggage to the Far East and the Fuji is the preferred choice and much better than no camera with me. But for everything else the Nikons. I don't have and will not have a Nikkor to Fuji adapter, that is heresy 

Pros

- Small/light camera and small/light lenses for APS-C format
- the lenses aren't bad at all, to the contrary
- no lousy popup flash on the X-T1
- good build quality
- treat the X-Trans files well (e.g. PhotoNinja, not ACR/Lightroom) and nice results can be obtained

Cons

- Battery life
- Battery life
- The sometimes flickering / stuttering EVF that is too dim in bright sunlight
- The missing true AF-ON button and AF-S lens functionality
- The Focus by Wire manual focussing
