The windows on the F4 finder are for LCD illumination, WB measurement doesn't make that much sense on a film camera.

Those lenses looked amazing on a panda Df btw, as if that version of the Df was specifically designed for these classic duo tone lenses.

The Nippon Kogaku Nikkor-N Auto 1:2.8 f=24mm, but it's not in the images.

I have high hopes on Eric aka Dr. Lens he can fix it in Scotland. :)

The really look great on a panda Df. :D

I haven't actively collected any of the silver nose Nikkors although a few have accumulated over time. 2.1 cm f/4, 24/2.8 N, 28/3.5 H, 35/3.5 PC, 35/2.8 S, 5 cm f/2, various 5.5/55 Micro-Nikkors, 105/2.5, 105/4 T, 105/4 Bellows, 135/2.8 & f/3.5, 135/4 Bellows, 200/4 Q, 300/4.5 H; list compiled off memory as I'm not in the lens house currently.

No Panda Df for me, though. I prefer the Black Beauty.

I really love this forum.  Sometimes I half heartedly wonder if I am getting carried away with my lens collection.  When I see the glorious collections on display here though, I know I am heading in the right direction  ;D

If you need a "target" explanation for your better half: Roland has more than 900 different lenses in his list. :)
