Portraits of Camera gear.
« on: March 10, 2016, 02:04:50 »
I did not see this on the forum, I prefer the term "Portrait". I've seen gear shots in discussions, if I missed a dedicated thread- please merge this.

Just a place to show gear, rare, common, mint, beater- I'm sure there is a lot of unusual camera equipment and optical equipment owned across this board. Thought it would be fun to see it.

Taken with a Nikon E3, 60/2.8 Micro-Nikkor, and SB-29. I made an AC adapter to keep the E3 going, it still works.

I love writing assembly code and using manual focus cameras.

Zörkendorfer tilt/shift adapters on an F3T and F2T, respectively.

By the way, the contraption to the right is widely seen these days in the shape of t/s adapter for m43 cameras.

The humongous 300 mm f/2 AIS here on a pentapod with F4 and a 2X TC.

Later I sold of the 300 as I got tired of getting bad bruises all over when carrying that boat anchor in the field. The camera support now is Sachtler ENG 2CF HD and a Video20 Fluid Head for long and heavy lenses.

Another strange combination - something fishy is going on here.

(Fisheye-Nikkor 7.5 mm f/5.6, with CPU, on a D40x UV-modified).

I need to do a shot with the MIOJ Nicca III, 5 Nikkor lenses from the 48~49, and the Varifinder from 49.

This shot is inspired by the Lego Batman Song-
