Another French water lily (Nymphaea alba coll.) done in UV. Done with the UV-modified Nikon D40x and the Coastal Optics 60 mm f/4 APO lens.

UV draws the water surface in delicate light tones. I really like the feeling of high key that prevails here.

We invented or tried out a lot of UFOs during the long night. Well helped by good whisky if memory served. Some of these UFOs were captured inside the hemisphere covered by the 8mm ...

Bjørn, thanks for the technical info on the image in question.  I didn't know that a camera and/or a lens can share the enjoyment on good whisky with the living creatures.  :D

Snow is inspiring. The upcoming sprout is on display in the 'this winter' thread.
It has been growing on since.

That is an elegangt approach with sufficient ambiguity to make it interesting over time too.

We need some minimalistic injection. What is better suited than a red bollard against a water surface?

A calm Danish lake was the victim of a Panasonic GH-2 and the 55 mm f/1.2 Nikkor-SC.

I feel the skin on this shoulder is edited too hard. It also should be turned 90°

Me, too.  The dark brown thing on the right appears to be the back of a guitar.
