When I see these wonderful snowy images I always think whether I would even think about taking a photo, let alone grabbing the camera and making it. It looks so cold, I would just try to get inside as soon as possible :)

Jakov: you surrender to snow and immerse yourself into the stuff. Play with snow. Be a kid again. Make snow angels. Drive your car on snowy and icy roads and have fun.

Of course, some times there can be plenty of snow, even in my part of the country (near my house a few winters ago, D3X + 35/1.4 AIS)

Bjørn - this is a lovely image - great composition
Jakov - I am with you. Snuggle in front of a fire sounds MUCH better!

An overview of the Borrego Badlands (California). Except that the image resulted in-camera,  the steps taken to achieve at the final picture are - mercifully - lost in the internal memory banks. Still one of my favourites from the Joint Southwestern US Desert trip I did with Andrea back in 2012. Time flies fast.

Don't have too many images that would qualify as minimalistic. Maybe this one belongs.

The second of these is outstanding .... Debate with yourself whether showing submerged details is adding or subtracting from the overall presentation ...

I agree with Bjørn, without the underwater branches ;)
Beautiful image, nevertheless!
