That's it. Also just a little bit of cropping  ;)

A suggestive encounter, it's a claw of an excavator, it looks like an anchored monument, without the machine it's harmless, but it can awaken.

Thank you very much, Arturo, that is a very apt description of the picture.

Flower minimalism.

Testing stacked lenses on the Z fc. This might work??

It definitely works
(both technically and photographically)

I'm curious about the translucent curl Birna

This is the twisted and curled labellum of the Moth Orchid Phalaenopsis.

Come to think of this, I implemented the setup as a tandem relay lens approach and maybe I'll get better results with my Repro-Nikkor 85mm f/1. At least that lens kit would be lighter, easier to handle, and even faster.

Yes, Birna works, it's ingenious, it's a creative extension, the work seems to show the beauty of the flower, one that may not be reproducible.

I've tried to "reproduce" with the Repro-Nikkor and while it sure is an easier and less hefty kit, there was no chance for me to copy the posted image. There was something special about the lighting of the motif and the angles and manners in which  the various planes of the flower overlapped that I couldn't copy. Thus one of a kind photo for sure and that's the best one can hope for, I'd guess. Otherwise all magic would have vanished.
