Have you ever had the feeling that you pressed the shutter button  at the wrong time. The shutter of the new X-T2 is very quick indeed and caught me by surprise. Oops

Out last evening with the Nikkor 200-500/5.6 lens, way too late, way too dark.  This thing has the best VR I've ever seen, but of course it does not stop subject motion.  So here is an egret, that decided to do a little preening.  The rocks and beak don't look too bad for a hand held shot at 1/30 second, 500 mm. on DX, though.

It would have been a shame if this one had been sharp. I like the soft paste colors.
