There are some huge colorful dragonflies at the pond, and boy are they fast! I got a few almost-sharp shots, but they're just bad in the usual way.  Here comes another one, though.  Maybe this time!

for my skills using the 500mm f4 AIP on or first trip out.

Fireworks. What are the spiral marks on the light circles, thoughts? Shot at f4, 66mm using 24-120 zoom.

Anirban, that's what I am talking about! :)
Not sure about the spirals but I am certain that someone will know how to explain it.
(Since it's unsharp I would smooth the image to the max, hence, alleviate all noise)
