Let us show the best unsharp photos ever. It is actually more difficult than you think getting a good one?

I am not sure what your intention was here - I assume you intended for this photo to be out of focus? If this was just a mis-hap - it's at least good in composition...  -  I think....
If you shot this (whatever this is) with the intention of having the objects out of focus - please share your thoughts as I am a bit lost here.

There are some great photographers on this site, and I am sure you will get lots of feedback - some positive, and some lost like me. But don't take it personally - we are all here to learn from one another.

Great idéa. I see four legged animals of some sort. Brilliant presentation, and brilliant inspiration. Must dig into the archives, but I don't think I have anything that suits. So off to creating an "defocused" image......

At least there were clear intentions in this sequence ... Perhaps too much of the frames are sharp in the present context, though.

Ever is big word but this is one from last year I really like.

Went for a stroll in the park to test a new lens I bought online in Austria when this creature walked my way so flipped the LCD screen, preset the focus, moved the camera below eye level and took the shot of this rare kangaroo dog hybrid

I remember sitting in a bus to the Tuscany Photographic Workshop in 2005 having a discussion with a famous
German publisher about conscious composition with zero sharp parts in Photography.

Later he presented the fruit of our discussion to the plenum of the workshop. A perfect rendition of my conceptual work.

Unsharp is a very wide area. For 1,5 year I  only shot out of focus (or bokeh/background orientated). Quite useful. It's a bit of a pity I lost the complete selection in Murphy-influenced computer breakdowns.

Anyway, still lots of unsharp photo's everywere   Here one of the Dutch trainway stations.
