In preparation for a future shoot-out Zf vs. Df

So simple and yet so effective.

Like John, I am looking forward to the shoot-out.

Birna and John were discussing the AF 50mm f/1.4D. Here is one taken with the AI version, which had identical optics.

I have been working really hard the past few days, from morning to late evening. Good thing I like what I do  :)
Yesterday finally some relax at my cousin's 50th birthday party. He managed to get together a group of amazing people.

In preparation for a future shoot-out Zf vs. Df, I dug out one of the Df bodies, put in an SD card, and went for a walk in the nearby forrests. The Df makes pictures all on its own -- how nice is that?

Bin there, done that
also curious about the outcome and also to borrow that self-image-takin Df?  ;D

Sunny, but a bit of cold wind. The Magnolia's seem to enjoy it

Winter shows no sign of abatement.

By the way, the AFS 300mm f/4 PF E works splendidly on the D1X, with the caveat you cannot adjust aperture while the lens is mounted to that camera. It will only operate at f/4. which is all right as the lens delivers very sharp images even wide open.
