Precious image.  A slight uncertainty you mention is well expressed on her face.

This is the only angle in which I can look toward the west from my place.

A colourful atmosphere, Akira. Nice.

Great portrait of your daughter Ian.

Are you sure she is not afraid of the camera?  ;)

Very Cute Ian! I too have the same issues with all of my family. Some turn their heads, other put up their hands, one even used a kitten as a shield. All you need to do is increase the shutter speed while apparently I need x-ray :)

Does the Nikon Z take predictive motion data to determine possible photographers intent and disengage the VR hen panning, or must you achieve that via lens or in camera settings only?

Regards,
Tom

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement.

John, the only time my daughter was displeased was when I stopped chasing her without her permission  :D

Tom, a quick look in the manual and Tom Hogan's guide tells me that yes, the VR detects panning. Sport mode is probably better for that sort of thing. I have not tried. Face/eye detection when focusing, however, did a great job in this case.

Thanks Fons and Hugh.

Nice details and colours Fons.

The Zfc a better camera than the Z6?

Zfc makes for a handy package, i suppose the pixelpitch must be similar to a Z7.

Impressive color, Fons!

Df, Voigtländer 58/1.4 wide open and f/4

I like the wide open version.  Normally, I'm not fan of vignetting, but it works very effectively in this case.

Interesting use of IR effect.  Only the blood veins on the cyclists' legs could reveal that it was shot in IR.
