The bug just made its way to Spanish android phone. Changing the address did the trick nicely. No problems

Accessing to URL that ends with "/revival" still results in the blank page.  But the longer URL allows to access to whatever topic, and I can eventually log in.

Thank you, Birna, for your effort.  Would that be the only solution for now or into the future?

Currently this is a workaround. The bug remains not reliably squished.

While with Chrome there is no bug at all (no problem ever), with Edge I just tested the entry
https://nikongear.net/revival/
and I get the blank page mentioned instead of the homepage.
I am not a coder, but evidence points to a problem with Edge in opening the homepage. Any specific page e.g.:
https://nikongear.net/revival/index.php?topic=9847.msg167823;topicseen#msg167823
works well also with Edge

As of Feb. 13, 19:00 Pacific Time (USA):
Safari 11.1.2 (2018 vintage) on older Mac computer stopped being able to get the Nikongear main index page a few days ago.  Changing the DNS server on the old computer seemed to allow  "Old Safari"  to connect.
Firefox 78.7.1 (current) can't get the index page.

A newer Mac computer, with the fully current Safari browser, has worked fine all along.

Pride comes before a fall. The bug has caught up with my iPhone. It has the latest iOS 14.4. The workaround did the trick.

Clearing cache of Firefox on Win10 PC resulted in the blank page.   :(

Googling "nikongear" and accessing the top of a thread enabled me to log in.

I had just cleared the cache. Normally that would simply require me to log in again. After using the workaround and logging in again everything is working again.

I always use my shortcut to the unread posts since last visit and do not see any issues in Chrome or Internet Explorer or Edge:

Ian, do you also see the blank page after cleaning the cache and accessing the "home" of NG website?

Once logged in successfully, I can access the website without problem on PC.

That might be a better workaround.

Clearing the cache and then attempting to use nikongear.net/revival/ brings me to the blank screen.

Once I manually go to nikongear.net/revival/index.php?action=login I can log in. As long as I stay logged in then the shorter URL above works fine. As soon as I log out it is back to the blank page.

I tried Ian's URL on my infuriatingly dense Android Firefox, and it works.

Every time I have to do something on the smartphone, I have to look up some polite equivalent of "how the hell do I do some otherwise simple task" like setting a bookmark. No, of course there is nothing as simple as "add bookmark" where you'd expect it.  Oh, you tap the star.  Oh, not that star, the other one.  Where is the star?  Oh, there.  No, not there, here!  I guess I must be becoming an old curmudgeon, but I do not get along well with symbols for everything.  I want text, dammit!

Thank you.  That is the same symptom as that I'm experiencing.
