The sun was shining to day, fantastic weather, cold but beautiful.
(D500 17-55 f2.8 DX @f8 2 images HDR)

There has been so many fantastic images already this year, have not got around to comment om then. ::)

is this marshland in Denmark? The sun looks more "southern" for my eyes...

Today it's the real  winter of the Nordic kind. Still, little snow, but pretty cold -17C so I don't envy the young lady walking her dog. Fortunately for all of us, there is but little wind.

I shot this as pure UV monochrome using a W-Nikkor 3.5cm f/3.5 with the Baader U filter on a NEX-5N Monochrome (thanks for the camera, Vivek). This Nikkor might not be the best in terms of transmitting "deep" UV, but it delivers results with an undeniable crispness despite being used with a hand-held camera.

Yes, crispness is the word of the scene we see here and crisp is the capture. Is the dog beheaded?

Relief is found in the opposite direction

I remember a bathroom furniture seller complain that some customers had used the exposition items for relief ... with all effects I do leave to your imagination...

Rounding the Corner in 2021 -- the right way.

105mm f/2.5 AI. IE, PrimaLuce Z5. Not much false colour when snow covers everything.

Before I start taking photos again a short roundup from Bonn: After 26 years of self employment I switched to a steady job although 2020 was the most successful year as an enterpreneur ever.

My task as an emloyee is to steer our little purple Volt Europa party to more success starting with a prospected progressive coalition in Bonn to reinvent this city into sustainability. Photography is part of my job, but only a minor part. Writing, Strategy, Management, Negotiations is my main job.

Thanks Birna and thanks Fons.

Before my time, but my grandfather contracted the 1918 flu and survived it.  I certainly don't want to emulate his experience.

Stay safe all.

Condolences on the demise of your brother!
Overhere also we are limited in our movements.

Sad to learn about your family loss, Hugh.

I have had near family members coming down with Corona, fortunately nobody in a fatal manner. I would dislike being the first.

I guess it is under sea level, or very closely.
It is Amager south of Copenhagen.
