Normalcy apparently is restored. Snow piles up everywhere and drivers show by their clumsiness they -- again --have forgotten how to drive on snow and ice. Oh well.
The spare Df which I finally got after it had been shuttling back and forth Japan-Norway a couple of times (thanks to errors at Norwegian Customs) was pressed into service with the faithful 105/2.5AI. A bit on the cold side for my liking (-12C) so I just captured single frames, no stacking: The snow stack has to suffice. The very nice transition of foreground sharpness into softer background is one of the many reasons endearing the old 105 to me.
