My son was unwilling to relinquish the bag of marshmallows and tried to evade capture in a field of oats.

Apropos my recent inquiry about Fuji RAW files, I tried both Lightroom and Photo Ninja. I am astonished! Photo Ninja delivered the result you see below. I could not cajole Lightroom into anything nearly as pleasing  :o

Nikon D4, AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G.

Nice picture ! There is still something which doesn't fly with the clouds. You should have posted your Lr processing, so we can compare.

Thank you. Since we are now past midnight here, this is the Lr version. I agree about the clouds but I suspect that I overexposed them.

Here is another go with Photo Ninja with an attempt to improve the clouds.

Would the moderators please indulge two posts in one day just this time?

Ian, is the yellow hue on the clouds coincide the way you actually saw in the field?  If not, the blue channel might have lost the info.  I find the highlight recovery of Adobe apps is amazing.  CNX-D is excellent as well in this regard.

Hi Ian, I find the Lr processed one, the most balanced. But, as a Adobe fan, this might suffer from some lack of objectivity ...  ::)

PS: With NikonGear you can upload images up to 2 MB, I believe.

This was the result of a last-minute thought to try different profiles in Lr. It is not something that I normally do. My previous efforts were not as pleasant.

I have been using Lr since I switched to digital in 2013. Consider me a fan too! I'm happy to have discovered the value of profiles  ::)

Akira, the clouds were not yellow in the field. Thank you for the explanation.

All this from considering a Fuji......
