Actually some of the poles and crossing points in Asia make this arrangement look quite neat.

You may certainly be right, it is a man made canal at the Danish Radio buildings.
The Eurasian coot you can’t see don’t  seems to bother ;)

There's something about the angle and moody PP that I really like about this John.

In the UK, I would say it makes me think of the feeling of "first day allowed out to have a social beer" .
Except none of the pubs & bars are allowed to open yet.
(If UK Conservatives hadn't asked to leave Europe already, they might have become required to by the end of this year anyway  :'(  )
