Returning home from a late afternoon walk with my dog, I saw these sunlit ferns in my side yard. Didn't think they would remain so lit long enough to get a camera and lens on them because the sun passes through the woods quickly at that time of day, but they stayed so illuminated for another moment or two after I got there with all my paraphernalia. Hooray!

My first milkyway shot for 2020. Taken with my brand new Nikon Z7 and the marvellous Sigma 20mm f/1.4 art.

The picture is a composite. Foreground is a single shot, 1" exposure @ f/5.6, iso 64. The background is a stack of 9 frames. Each frame is a 10" exposure @ f/1.4, iso 3200.
