Mother nature.

  D500, 70-300mm vr
It may not strictly be pure nature, but it is a well-done color image!

Cape jasmine in the shade.

Beautifully delicate Akira
Does this variety of Jasmine have a good fragrance?

In the UK, the common name for this is a Slow Worm

Believe me, this one was anything but slow!

It looks like it is posing for you. Strong presence. That plain background and oof body intensifies the character.

Thank you, Colin!  Although it carries the name "jasmine", it doesn't seem to have that strong fragrance.  I like its neat white color.

phantastic shot. very difficult subject, very fast flyers!!!

Thats superb Øivind

Thanks Frank and Colin. That was a lucky shot, considering the short appearance. Yesterday, as I suspected, the hummingbird clearwing moths were hanging around in some lilacs where I had seen them a previous year at initiation of blooming, and kept coming back. So I got "a bit" more training on them. With 1100 captures in bursts at 10 fps it will take some time to sort, process and post a selection in a separate thread...

BTW, cool snake, Colin.

The UK slow worm is in fact a legless lizard - although it certainly does look like a small snake.  It is non-venomous and it is not known to bite humans.
