No scenic medieval church ruins nearby my new home, but there is one about 40 km away and it does have a duckweed-covered pond immediately adjacent to it. Thus off I went thither today. The ensuing photography with my old S5Pro and the 14mm f/2.8 Nikkor ED was just collateral damage for a botanist :)

Wonderful "collateral damage " Love the spiral structure against the man made attempts with the accents in color. Extra dimension in the windows. Birna´s harmony all over.  :)

It is a fantastic performer.  Devoid of all CA and great performance across the frame.  Even extreme corners are pleasant, doesn't have the longitudinal CA and general smearing that tends to make UWA images unpleasant.  Build quality is top notch, and the flexibility of having 12/2.8 or 17/4 shift means there really is no competition.  I hope to get around to posting a review sometime.  Perhaps after I return from Poland.

Here's another with the MSC.

This looks amazingly detailed.  Laowa 12/2.8 looks promising.

Thanks Akira.

I didn't  use the sun hood, to introduce a bit of 'flare'.
