That cheese is more stinky than you could imagine. "Revolting" comes to mind.

Next, a shot at f/1.6 and we'll go on stopping down. D700, 2000 ISO, once in a while I needed a "fast" lens.

Hmm, here in Czech we have also some "strong" cheeses. Some I can eat and actually like, some are too much for me.  :-)

Here, the "Maroilles" smells like dog shit when warm. Still deemed acceptable. But the "Vieux Lille" smells like a morgue after 24h power outage.

What a great portrait, Petr. Where was it taken?

Thank you, Jim.
Even though it looks like some oriental country, I took it in the middle of Europe in Czech and the girl is my daughter
She played with towel.  :)
But there is a chance that you feel some "eastern traits" and if so, then you are right. She is half as my wife is Japanese.

Nice, Petr! My daughters are pretty much grown up (either married or in college) so they are not readily at hand for portraits, sadly. Enjoy it while you can!

Thank you, guys.
She will have to bear with me more often probably as I got a film MF camera with some lenses which I definitely will want to try out.  ;D

At a completely different end of things, and stuck at home not only with Covid isolation but killer sciatica, I was reminded that some years ago I got an 85/2.8D Micro lens used, in part due to Birna's long ago review.  A bit long for DX, and not very handy to use hand held, but every year around this time I go out and try to bag the unattainable but challenging fall staghorn sumac.  One of these days I'll get it right.  Today wasn't it, but I'll throw one in anyway.

A grab portrait during the "Durga Puja" celebration a few years back. The beautiful lady was very kind to allow me to photograph her in true festive spirit . D810 and 85 f1.4 AFD
