Uh oh, the dogs are not part of the Green lunch shot! It looked to me as though they were across the street from the diners, and it was the dogs that endeared me to what I thought was the image, but turns out not to be. Sorry for the confusion.
I was totally convinced that the dogs were across the street from the Green Lunch in a single shot. Viewing small on a laptop.

Wow, it never occurred to me that they were separate images!   :o

paco: looks like oil on the water...

It is the reflection of the sky, the ceiling and brick side of a building, etc... and the moving water that makes the effect -straight of camera image, landscape picture mode- but not sure if there was real oil in there. I have more images of the same place.

Love the "Green lunch" Armando!  8)
Armando, this is a brilliant way to heed the rule.  :D

Love the "walking the pets".  Great capture right at the moment.

And, yes, AF-S 50/1.8G is liberating!
Thanks Carl and Akira

Great shadow Paco

90 degrees rotation did a wonderful trick with that picture, Paco. A splendid illusion of a bird on the wing.

(it might take a botanist to identify the plant stem as belonging to Nuphar lutea).

when I rode my bicycle over the bridge today I saw that the empty rhine is kind of an optical illusion when you stand down there. From above it looks like 75% of the bed is full and 25% fell dry. Scientists tell us that the amount of water is the lowest since the 1940ies...

Not unexpectedly, the last snowfall was short-lived. Back to dreary bleak foggy wet November again.
