Fun on Saturday. I need to return with polarizer mounted, a lot of reflective glass to ruin images. Better technique on my part would not hurt either, too long away from camera handling!
1. My first time in this building, and the room is huge!
2.A slight turn shows a massive layout of various gauge setups.
3. Another view as a"fast freight" flies by near the bottom.

Carl, I enjoy your recent images which are pleasant depiction of the places you visited.

I hate to sound like a wet blanket: the rule of the "game" here is one image for one day.   ;)

Armando, this is a brilliant way to heed the rule.  :D

Love the "walking the pets".  Great capture right at the moment.

And, yes, AF-S 50/1.8G is liberating!

Went out in the forest nearby to get some fresh air and a distance to all the current writing stuff.

I thought that I was following the rules listed in post #1 of this thread:

"No theme (other than what the passage of time creates), no contest implied, a maximum of one picture per day in the actual month and no more than 4 images per month for NG members, up to 30 for Supporters. You can distribute the contributions as once per week if you so prefer."

Did I misunderstand them? Did I violate the once per week alternative? If so, then my apologies are offered.

one picture per day

is a rule Bjørn made because Fons and me posted more than one picture per day in the first year

Carl: you violated not the 'one picture per week' rule as that applies to non-subscribers, but the 'only one picture per day' rule for subscribers.

However, we are not out here policing our members as we believe most are responsible adults anyway. Just don't repeat.

The underlying reason for these guide lines simply is people should be concerned about submitting what they consider *the* best, and not leave the sorting task to others.

Uh oh, the dogs are not part of the Green lunch shot! It looked to me as though they were across the street from the diners, and it was the dogs that endeared me to what I thought was the image, but turns out not to be. Sorry for the confusion.

Okay, thanks for the clarification.
