doesnt seem to shorten the minfd but the maxfd ;)

Fons, this is a nice close up of lavender.

John, the rain gives nice atmosphere to it!

April 12.  I head a twitter in the Japanese plum tree next to my place and found this great tit (Parus minor).  Shot with Ai Nikkor 200/4.0 (@f8.0) on Panasonic GH5 (@ISO400).

Sorry for the low quality of the image which was very heavily cropped (roughly up to the equivalent of 2000mm, I guess).

Francis, thank you.  I don't understand the reason for the discrepancy between its English name "great" tit and the Latin scientific name (Parus "minor").   ::) ::) ::)

Palo Verde in Bloom, Tucson, Arizona.
D850 with 105mm f/2.5 AI (chipped) at f/2.5, 1/500 sec, ISO 64.

Another photo from the neighborhood a few days ago. Palo Verde trees have interesting green bark and bloom vibrant yellow. Some years the blooms are particularly impressive. Unfortunately it was very windy today, so I don't think I will find much left this year in that regard.

Muscari armeniacum actually Akira, too early for Lavender to be in flower, the compression of view may have suggested this i suppose. ;)

Fons, thank you for the correction.  The second look tells that the flowers are a bit too big and too blue for lavender.  :D
